"Bodyline" is a series of site-specific contemporary dance works created and performed in non-traditional spaces: galleries, courtyards, rooftop terraces, and raw architectural environments across New York City. Each work is developed through genuine creative collaboration between a commissioned choreographer and a visual artist who build the piece together from inception, producing works in which movement and environment are inseparable. Live musical accompaniment is integral to each performance.

This production advances Stilllife's performing arts programming into the field of contemporary dance, engaging choreographers and visual artists in genuine creative dialogue and activating spaces in ways that deepen Stilllife's reputation as a multi-disciplinary presenting organization whose work is defined by its site-specificity and cross-disciplinary integration.
